Universal Tracking System For Helicopters, Planes And Private Jets From Global Satellite Engineering

Published: 10/7/2012 2:36:50 PM

Fort Lauderdale, FLA:  October 2nd, 2012:  Global Satellite Engineering (http://www.gsat.us (http://www.gsat.us)) , the leader in customized satellite engineering systems, is pleased to announce that its new software platform, GSatTrack (http://www.gsattrack.com), a universal satellite and GSM tracking system, is now being launched into the aviation market.  All of the devices that support GSatTrack can now be managed with the government standard - Automated Flight Following (AFF). Also, GSatTrack can attach to any existing AFF feed to pull the tracking information into a single account to consolidate your fleet.

GSatTrack, is a web-based system that supports multiple tracking devices and consolidates information into one single browser.  There is a two-way messaging system, with the ability to send an emergency/SOS alert via email or SMS message, which are delivered in each recipient's time zone and language.   You can geofence alerts for when a plane has taken off or landed for the entire fleet, and generate historical reports by day, week, or month. GSatTrack requires no additional software to manage and provides real-time instant activation.

For Aviation Managers, GSatTrack means a greater level of safety and operation management is now available.  For example, Aviation Managers can now view flights in real-time and post flight information at any time to third party organizations or other members of an organization.  The precise data confirms where the pilot has been working and allows supervisors to plan future work.   Having GSatTrack for each small aircraft could also save millions of dollars in search and rescue, as search aircrafts can pin point the plane’s position, and be on site quickly, saving lives, time and money.  Unscheduled landings or course deviations can be programmed as an alert with a pre-set emergency message.

Commenting on the new tracking system, Jeff Palmer, Director of Global Satellite Engineering said, “Having listened to our customers, we are excited about offering a satellite tracking solution that will enable our customers to merge together a fleet of planes, together with all other assets and equipment into one easy-to-use platform.  The tracking equipment determines its location by triangulating a position using GPS and then transmits this information via GSM, Satellite or VHF to a central server for processing.  Any operator can view and control any number of assets in real time, in English, French, Spanish, or German simultaneously”.

Traditionally, if you buy a tracking device, the manufacturer beholds the user to their own proprietary software in order to monitor a particular plane, helicopter, asset, equipment, personnel or vehicle. Global Satellite Engineering has turned the market upside down by developing a software system that can monitor a plethora of devices so that an operations department or an individual user can track multiple devices using one software platform, viewing all activities on one single unified interface.  GSatTrack brings together every manufactured product under one location and reports can be distributed in multiple languages, in a specific time zone and in a format best for each member of the group.

GSatTrack collates a wealth of data into user-friendly and easy to understand reports and graphs, which can be configured individually or into groups of planes or assets according to specific needs and reported remotely under a unified web interface.

The new age of plane tracking has arrived with precision and ease of use.  GSatTrack is providing that solution and provides greater efficiency and cost savings to the Aviation Managers and Operations Divisions.  To obtain a free trial, call Global Satellite Engineering today at 954 459 4000 or emailsales@gsat.us today.
